Mixed fortunes in first fortnight
The first two weeks of the 2024 season have provided mixed fortunes for Meersbrook Park BC. Building on the growth of the cub in 2023, we now have teams playing in 4 competitive leagues – namely Sheffield Social Clubs, Sheffield
Burgers and bowls
Meersbrook Park BC held our first Social Bowling event of the season on Thursday 11th April. New members, keen to play, were welcomed by familiar bowlers, who came with renewed enthusiasm after the winter break. Burgers (meat and veggie) were served
Taster days raise an appetite for bowls
Our taster days on 6th and 7th April were a great success as we saw over 20 people registering an interest in becoming involved with Meersbrook Park Bowling Club. Most were totally new to the game of crown green bowls.
