Our taster days on 6th and 7th April were a great success as we saw over 20 people registering an interest in becoming involved with Meersbrook Park Bowling Club.
Most were totally new to the game of crown green bowls.
Families enjoyed activities on the bottom green while on the top green, potential new bowlers got some tips from our members and played a few ends. Fine weather and home- made cakes helped to make it a very enjoyable weekend.
12 individuals have since officially joined us as members.
